titling this post "off with his head!" would be cliche

alice in wonderland has always been one of my favorite stories. i pretty much like any story that has a child heroine, wizard of oz, spirited away...

the 1999 made for tv version of alice was my favorite when i was younger. probably because alice was a brunette. regardless, the queen of hearts in this rendition is RIDICULOUS. the styling choices, lack of hair in particular, seem far more literal to the actual card than many other interpretations of the character.


i don't know, i jut love that her hair is drawn on in thick lines just like the card. i really thought that was genius.
