i long for the days that people got dressed up at all ever. i mean i guess i wouldn't sacrifice the semblance of gender equality we have today for the mad men era, but people really looked so much better then.

i am a huge fan of old movies and i love the way they used to glamorize all aspects of travel. trains, planes, cars, all of it seems so majectic! now it's like, throw on some uggs and leggings, show the world you're butt crack and you're plane-ready.

that's why i love this editorial titled in transit. it's a modern take on the glamor of travel!

as a little break from working on my finals, i wanted to post these amazing zodiac-themed photos of (one of my favorite models) siri tollerod by tim gutt (not gunn, sadly) for vogue uk! so whimsical and fun. not entirely sure why pisces is in a garbage can? i kind of resent that but the photo is sick. there are more wild photos than the ones i posted, and i highly recommend going to fashion gone rogue to check out the rest

i have to say my current obsession with regards to fashion photography is ellen von unwerth. i think she really understands young women and sort of has her finger on the pulse of what's sexy and fun.
