i've been noticing a really inspiring new trend in editorial that seems to be an amalgamation of this ethereal inspiration and a very modern aesthetic. and i must say it is absolutely inspiring. maybe it's just samuel françois genius styling?

right now, the model i am most inspired by is my beloved frida gustavsson. her look is versatile, and she always has a very enigmatic and beautiful way about her. i think she has an almost supernatural grace, but also a really fun and feminine youthfulness. plus, her personal style is always so relaxed and chic. she is perfection!

i originally headed over to mark. to pick up their smooch-proof lipstain that i read about on stylecaster. while i was there i also bought color cream in cabana. it seems to be the perfect shade! i'm even toying with the idea of wearing the two together for one super glam evening, a la christian dior spring 2010. plus a shot of the lovely chanel iman to prove it's not just for those fair blonde girls.
